The Inner Hebrides
Scotland Photo Workshops is the passion of T. Hamish Tear - a Scottish photographer and writer who was raised on one of the smallest inhabited islands off the West coast of Scotland. Hamish's photographic portfolio and writing examples can be seen here. Hamish has sailed, hiked and climbed extensively in the Scottish islands, and now leads and coordinates photographic workshops to three of them. Non-photographing companions are welcome.

Traveling by small coach and local ferry routes, Scotland Photo Workshops has teamed up with acclaimed local workshop photographers in different island locations: Arran - Andrew Surridge; Islay - Mark Unsworth, and Mull - Dr. Sam Jones. Guests spend three days (four nights in charming hotels) on each island. Time in between is for traveling to the next port; taking in, and photographing, the sights. During photography days, optional activities are included for non-photographer companions.
